Are all items handmade?
Many Salt Cottage pieces are handcrafted or thoughtfully curated in small batches. Because of this, slight variations in color, texture, or placement are expected and part of their unique character.
Do items look exactly like the photos?
We do our best to represent each piece accurately, but natural materials (like shells, wood, and textiles) may vary slightly from item to item.
Shipping
How long does shipping take?
Orders are typically processed within 3–7 business days. Shipping times vary depending on location and carrier, but most U.S. orders arrive within 3–8 business days after dispatch.
Do you offer tracking?
Yes, all orders include tracking information once shipped.
Returns & Refunds
What is your return policy?
We want you to love your Salt Cottage piece. If something isn’t right, please contact us within 7 days of delivery.
Because many items are handmade, custom, or curated in limited quantities, we accept returns under the following conditions:
Item must be unused and in original condition
Return request must be made within 7 days of delivery
Buyer is responsible for return shipping costs
Original shipping costs are non-refundable
Once your return is received and inspected, a refund will be issued to your original payment method within 5–10 business days.
Do you accept refunds or replacements for damaged items?
Yes. If your order arrives damaged, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the item and packaging. We will offer either a replacement (if available) or a full refund.
Are custom or made-to-order items refundable?
Custom or personalized items are final sale and cannot be returned or refunded unless they arrive damaged or incorrect.
Can I cancel my order?
Orders can be canceled within 24 hours of purchase, as long as they have not already entered production or shipping.
Exchanges
Do you offer exchanges?
We do not offer direct exchanges at this time. If you would like a different item, please return your original order (if eligible) and place a new order.
