Hi, I'm Jen.

I’m a Delaware coastal artist and the founder of Salt Cottage, a coastal art and lifestyle brand inspired by the feeling of life near the water. I create original coastal artwork, hand-painted shell art, and handcrafted home pieces designed to bring a sense of calm, beauty, and connection to the coast into everyday life.

Like many people, life became busy. Between work, family, responsibilities, and the constant pull of screens, I found myself longing for something slower. Something that reminded me of the feeling I get when I’m near the water.

Salt Cottage began as a creative outlet, but it quickly became something more. What started with collecting shells and creating artwork has grown into a celebration of coastal living through original art, handcrafted coastal decor, seasonal inspiration, recipes, playlists, curated finds, and The Salt Cottage Compass.

You don’t have to live near the ocean to enjoy the feeling it brings. Whether you’re decorating your home, setting a table for family and friends, discovering a new coastal-inspired piece, listening to a favorite playlist, or simply taking a moment to slow down, I hope Salt Cottage helps you create a home and life that feel welcoming, peaceful, and inspired by the sea.

Every Salt Cottage piece is thoughtfully created in my Delaware home. From the shells I collect to the final brushstroke, each detail is made by hand with care and intention.
